SPECIAL GENERAL MEETING. A Special General Meeting of the Society will be held at the conclusion of the General Meeting to consider a recommendation from the Control Committee, as follows:— 1. The schedule of Contributions to the Sick Benefit Fund be amended to provide for the minimum contribution of one shilling and five pence for members whose age at entry was under, 39 years. 2. That Rule 16 (a) be deleted, and the following substituted:— 16 (a) Sick members shall receive Sick Pay at the rate of five shillings per working day, or thirty shillings (30s) per week oil the basis of six working daya per week, except In the case of a member who is receiving compensation pay,'when the rate of pay shall be 3s 4d per day, or Jil per full week. Such payments shall not exceed twenty pounds (£2O) in any period of twelve months beginning at the date of the first payment to any such sick member. No payment shall be made for less than one week's continuous Incapacity and no member shall be entitled to sick pay after be has reached the age of 65 years. S. A. VINE, Acting Secretary.
