DECISION IN THE EAST
GOEBBELS ON WAR ISSUE
(Rec. 11.20 a.m.) LONDON, Mar. 19
"Britain and America cannot defeat us," declared Dr, Goebbels in an article in "Das Reich." "Not only for us but for Britain and America the decision will come in the east. One has only to read the British Press carefully to see" that the British Empire is gripped by a hidden but clear fear of death. The traditional British diplomacy has failed. It wanted to act in a completely superior way, but only succeeded in being too clever,, and now it is about to lose all.
"It is unlikely that Britain and Americe can beat Germany and her allies without Britain and America being destroyed. Just as Britain possesses the weapon of air warfare, we possess the weapon of U-boat warfare, which is more dangerous for Britain. Britain has no counter-measure's against us. We shall very soon have a weapon against air warfare in sufficient Quantities."
