It was stated that arrangements at the time of writ* ing were well in hand in connection with Christmas gifts for all hospital patient?, Spepl&l gift bags were being prepared, each to contain a wallet, soap, and soap container, metal mirror, razor blades, pweets, handkerchief, packet of cigarette tobaeoo and papers, matches, toothpaste, goeks, etc. Each bag wag to contain s pfinteji card, suitably worked, showing that the gift was sent from the people of New Zealand, with a Christmas greeting, and also hoping the recipient would poon be well ana strong again. A Red Cross mobile store has been very useful for taking comforts to forwara positions in the field end to casualty clearing stations.
