RIVAL FASCISTS

LAVAL UNSETTLED BY DEAT

LONDON, November 1

In France, the Fascist leader, Deat, has again brought up the question of a single Fascist party with himself as the head of it.

According to Vichy radio, he is now going to put new resolutions before Laval.

Deat is regarded as one of Laval's most serious rivals. His threat to set up a single Fascist party has already been met with a declaration from Laval claiming that the Legion, which Laval controls, is the only suitable organisation.
