It is suspected'that the panzer headquarters., was very successfully attacked . by, our,, fighters ,■ which- destroyed or. damaged vehicles, armoured' cars, tanks^ and tents. A camp.invthe Mersa Matruh, area was. attacked,- by longrange fighters. Large tents were, set on fire, and vehicles and, a wireless station were strafed.. A railway train, was also set on fire and the. engine destroyed. Casualties were also inflicted on the- troops in the. Mersa Matruh dock area. '. ■
