(P.A.) GREYMOUTH, October 31. The Greymouth Trotting Club's Meeting was concluded In fine weather, aud there waa a large attendance. The track was firm. The totalisator handled £18,856, making an aggregate for the two days of £35,887, an increase of £5411 10s on last year's figures. The day's total and meeting total are both records for the West Coast. Results were:— Gleseking Handicap, £115; trotters; 3.49 class for V/ 2 miles; 12J/a furlongs.—3-8 Great Worth, scr (Jamison), l; 2-2 Millie Wrack, scr (McKendry), 2; 4-5 Cockney, 72 (Behrns), 3. All started. Half a length; ono. Times: 3mln 46sec, Smin 46 l-ssec, 3min 40 2-ssec. The winner's driver, Jamison, was fined £20 for careless driving and causing Interference with the second horse, the commltteo being unable to decide that tho interference affected the result. An appeal has been lodged against the fine by a part-owner, Mr. J. Bourke.
