JAPS PLANNING LONG WAR

LONDON. September 24.

"Japan is ready for a long war," declared Admiral Nomura, the former Japanese Ambassador to Washington, who is heading the Japanese naval mission which is now at Rome.

Admiral Nomura, who was quoted oy Rome radio, added: "Enormous quantities of raw materials have been accumulated from the conquered territories, and an inexhaustible reserve of man-power will enable Japan to maintain a long war if England and America plan along those lilies."
