MULLETT V. O'KEEFE.

The first open-air boxing contest to be staged in Wellington since the Sarron-Donovan fight will take place at Athletic Park next Saturday afternoon between two heavyweights, Don Mullett (New Zealand Army) and Danny O'Keefe (American Serviceman). Both the men are over 14st in weight and both of them have plenty of supporters. They have been in hard training for some time, having workouts each afternoon at Koolrnan's gymnasium, O'Keefe between 2 p.m. and 3 p.m., and Mullett from 3 p.m. to 4 p.m. O'Keefe uses ■ fellow-service-men for sparring partners, while Mullett has engaged Ray Allen for that purpose. The box plan opens at Humphries', Manners Street, on tMondayv. .
