MOVING AT KHARKOV

The battle on the Kharkov front is becoming more violent,, says Moscow radio. The enemy is sustaining heavy losses. His tank columns, each consisting of from 90 to 120 tanks, are falling back. Yon Bock is reported to be deploying 30-divisions around Kharkov with another 30 in reserve—evidence that Caucasian oil is Germany's first major objective this year. The German communique states: "We annihilated or took prisoner remnants of the beaten Russian army eastwards of Kharkov."
