LONDON, June ,12. The two weeks' battle for. the strategic Chinese city and aerodrome at Chuhsien is reported to be over. !The Chungking communique says that these centres of fierce fighting were evacuated by the Chinese on Wednesday. A news agency message says that the Chinese have recaptured Iwu, on the Hankow railway to the west of Chuhsien.
