JAPANESE HOMECOMING DELAYED
WASHINGTON, June 11. The departure of the liner Grips,holm, which was scheduled to leave today with Japanese nationals and diplomats for Africa, has been delayed till Tuesday, following the Japanese refusal to guarantee safe conduct beI fore this date. inrormed circles say that the refusal indicates thai Japanese submarines are operating in the South Atlantic and time is needed for notification of the commanders.
