, DIPLOMATIC RELATIONS

(Bee. 12.40 p.m.) RUGBY, June 12. j An agreement establishing diplomatic relations between the U.S.S.R. and Canada was signed at the Soviet Embassy in London. The signatories were M. Maisky and Mr. Vincent Massey. Consular relations between the two countries were restored some time ago, and the present agreement, which comes into force at once and is not subject to ratification, establishes direct diplomatic relations and provides for an exchange of Ministers. —B.Q.W.
