Union Banks changed hands at between £6 16s and £6 ISs. There were sales of Commercial Banks at 14s Id, and £ 9 10s was paid for the preference shares of this bank. New Zealand Insurance advanced from G3s Gd to 63s 9d and South British improved to 555, a riso of 6d ou the week. N.Z. industrials were not conspicuous in the sales, but among (hem were N.Z. Paper Wills, 31s Gd; Dominion Fertiliser, 20s; and Farmers' Fertiliser. Kis Ski. Woollen shares dealt',, In included Wellington (ord.), £<3 ISs 9d and Timaru, llis 3d: Wilsons.
