COMPARED TO MALTA

SEBASTOPOL A TOUGH NUT

(Rec. 9 a.m.) LONDON, June 11. The Germans at present are comparing Sebastopol with Malta, says Reuters Stockholm correspondent. Military circles in Berlin describe Sebastopol as "just such another tough nut," with the hint that it may be too tough for the Germans to crack. Most of the strongpoints at Sebastopol are cut into solid cliffs which are impervious to the most powerful weapons.

The Germans are hurling in tanks, infantry, and dive-bombers against the Russian positions at Kharkov.' Gen-' eral Konhoht, Who is unknown outside Germany, has been given charge of the German forces.
