LOWER HUTT RATES

The Lower Hutt City Council resolved last evening that a consolidated rate of Is in the £1 on the unimproved value be struck together with a water rate of 1J per cent, of the annual value for properties connected with the water service and 2 per cent, for those unconnected. These rates are unchanged from last year. A discount of 3§ per cent will be given for payment within thirty days.
