A CHUNGKING APPEAL

(Rec. 1 p.m.) LONDON, Jan. 28

The Chungking Government spokesman appealed to Britain and the United States to rush reinforcements to Singapore, declaring that its fall might lead to an eventual juncture between German and Japanese armies in India.
