MASS STARVATION

FOOD SHIP FOR GREECE

RUGBY, January 27.

It is officially stated in London that to meet the appalling conditions in Greece, the British and American Governments are prepared to authorise the dispatch of a single ship with 8000 tons of wheat to Greece. The cargo is to be supplied under the auspices of the International Red Cross. For many weeks reports have been reaching London of mass starvation in Greece as a result of the war, and the subsequent Axis occupation of the country- Deep concern has been expressed here, and the sending of this food ship is the immediate answer.— 8.0.
