STAKES INCREASED

In the event of the Novice Stakes at the Ashhurst Meeting having to be run in divisions the stake-money will be increased to £ 150, the winner of each division to take £60, the second horses £10, and third £5. The Komako Hack Handicap will likewise be increased to £200, the winner of each division to take £80 and the second horses £20; in the Gorge Hack Cup; the stake will be advanced to £250, with the distribution on the basis of £100 to each winner, £20 for the second horses, and £5 for third placegetters; and in the Siberia Hack Handicap the stake will be increased to £180, £75 going to each winner and £15 to the second horses.
