TROOP ENTERTAINMENTS

The Repertory Concert Party, under the leadership of Mr. Eric Harrison, provided last week's programmes at both Fort Dorset and Palmer Head, the entertainments being arranged by the Fort Dorset Association.

The programme presented was the bright musical comedy, "The Hotel Balalaika," and the troops of the Coastal Command were very enthusiastic in their appreciation. The dancing of the ballet under Miss Marjorie Vause and the frockings of the chorus supervised by Mrs. H. Painter both merit special mention, and the producer was Mr. Harry Painter.

Padre Hayes and Captain Luxford extended thanks to the performers at the conclusion of the concerts, - and later the party was entertained to supper by the commanding officer, Lieutenant-Colonel H. G. Wilding, D.5.0., and officers of the 10th Heavy Regiment, N.Z.A.
