The weekly "Observer" says the New Zealand Navy has earned its separate identity. Those inquiring as to its title deeds need only be referred to the record of H.M.S. Achilles against the' Admiral Graf Spec.
"The change marks a definite and picturesque stage in the emerging of full nationhood/ the paper says.
