WRESTLING TONIGHT.
An interesting clash in styles will be seen in the professional heavyweight , wrestlings match at the Wellington Town Hall tonight. The contestants will be Jaget Singh (India) and Pat Meehan (Canada), both of whom are high-class performers and are fast and willing workers with unusual holds to display. Singh has scored a win over Corbett since he was last in Wellington and is keen to move even further up the ladder but he can expect spirited opposition from Meehan. There will be a five-round professional preliminary between Croskery and Newth, in addition to amateur bouts. The proceeds will go .to Lhe fund for blind soldiers and sailors.
