VERY REV. C. W. CARRINGTON (Rec. 9.30 a.m.) LONDON, August 5. The death has occurred of the Very Rev. C. W. Carrington, formerly Dean of Christchurch, at the age of 82 years. The Very Rev. C. W. Carrington was born at Bath, and finished his education at Cambridge. He was engaged in the engineering profession for some years, and became curate of St. Clement's. Notting Till, in 1888., In 1903 he was appointed principal ol the upper department of Christ's College. Christchurch, New Zealand, and from 1913 to 1927 he was Dean of Christchurch and Commissary for the Bishop of Christchurch. He returned to England after his resignation in 1927. His son is the present Bishop of Quebec.
