WINCHESTER CUP RESULT
The Winchester Cup, which was competed for. recently, was won by the Christchurch WvM.C. No. 1 team with the excellent score of 496 ex 500. Brooklyn were second.
The individual team scores were:—Christchurch No. 1, 496 ; Brooklyn No. 1, 489; Hutt, 486; Westport, 483 ;■ Brooklyn No. 2, 482; Invercargill Defence, 481; West End, 481; Timaru, 481; "Evening Post," 480 ; Aotea; 476 ;■ Featherston, 476; Long-burn, 472; Hororata, 471; Hastings A, ■ 461; Wellington South, 460; Invercarglll Ladies, 456: Hastings B, 452; Christchurch W.M.C.. No. 2 (incomplete). ' The inter-club matches last week resulted:—
C Grade, Section I.—Riverbank 310 v. Hutt T/adies 306, H.V. Frontiersmen 312 v. Hutt 309, Petone Central 316 v. Onslow 295.
C Grade, Section 2. —Brooklyn 318 v, P.W.M.C: Ladies 287, "Evening Post" 322 v. Hutt Ladies 212, H.V. Frontiersmen 315 v. H.V. Ladies 294.
