LECTURE ON THE MOON

Tonight's lecture on the moon, which the Director of the Carter Observatory is to give in the lecture hall of the Central Library, should be of great interest. A number of lantern slides will be shown to illustrate the features of the earth's dead satellite, and theories as to how the moon came to bewhat it now is will be discussed.
