NEW RADIO WEAPON

COMBATING RAIDERS

(Rec. 2.10 p.m.) LONDON, May 21

British scientists, in collaboration with scientists in Canada and the United States, have invented a new radio weapon for use against day and night air raiders. Details of the invention are secret, but it can be revealed that it involves the use of many small radio sets which will be able to detect hostile planes and direct anti-aircraft fire against them with deadly precision.

Britain has trained a thousand radio technicians to operate the weapon.— U.P.A. .
