THE LETTERS OF HESS

LONDON, May 21

The Prime Minister was asked today whether, when the House of Commons went into secret session later in the day, members could hear the letters written by Herr Hess to the Duke of Hamilton. Mr. Churchill, after remarking that the question seemed hardly relevant to a debate on production, said that a statement would shortly be made which would relieve any anxiety about their correspondence.
