AIR-RAID SHELTER
OFFICIAL OPENING
The specially-constructed air-raid shelter at the corner of Hunter and Featherston Streets, which has aroused much public comment, will be officially opened by the Mayor, Mr. Hislop, on Monday, at 1.15 p.m. The shelter is to be used as headquarters for the various qeens iri the Victory Queen Carnivali Each queen will hold the shelter for a week, and the Friday in that week will be that particular queen's street day.
