RUGBY, February 28.
More than 7,000,000 steel helmets of standard types have now been supplied, chiefly to £he fighting forces, the Home Guard, the Civil Defence Service, and the Ministry of Supply. Factories are now working on a new type of helmet for fire-watchers and industrial workers.
