PIANOFORTE RECITAL
An entertaining pianoforte recital was given by pupils of Miss Catherine Moncrieff, L.R.S.M., this .week. The selections covered a wide range. Lan McCormick played an English folk tune and selections by Dunhill, Maurice Faulknor Greig selections, Jeanette Thomson selections by Chaminade and Borowski. Nicoll Thomson selections from Mendelssohn and Gade, June McCormick played Schubert, and MacDowell numbers, John McCormick was heard in selections from Schubert and'Hurlstone, and Jocelyn NobleCampbell played Greig and Chopin selections. Betty Jorgenson played Bach and Beethoven numbers, Rob Glen Schubert and Chopin numbers, Lola Dent selections from Schumann, Chopin, and Lizst, Diana Shaw Chopin and Pachulski numbers, and Alistair Wilson selections from Chopin, Debussy, and Rachmaninoff.
