SPRING COMES TO THE BUSH
Pixie People: ', I have enjoyed your visits to the Ring this iveek, and I am nearly as sad as you are that holidays are ending, for that means no more smiling faces looking in at the Ring doorway at all times of the day. Letterbox Elf says that the nicest things, like holidays, toboggan rides, and candy floss, all come and go very quickly, and the holidays seem to have passed more swiftly than ever this time. I'm sure it was because you had such lovely sunny weather and so much to do and see, with special pictures and competitions s on every day. Thank you all for your ideas about our next Ring competitions. It was interesting to know just what, you like best, aiid when the Elf and I work out thejmost popular ideas we'll be able to give you something you'll really enjoy. If you have b.een spend-, ing your holidays out of Wellington and have not had a chance to write, will you send a small note to me next week, telling me the kind of competition you like best, for I want to know what all my elves prefer. Bird Page next week, Ring, people. There were some specially dainty drawings and verses in the letterbox this week, so watch for them next Saturday. My love to you all, and best wishes for this new and important term of the year. , ' EAIRIEL
