ACCIDENTS

A tram conductor, Mr. G. E. B. Smith, of 3 Kio Road, was struck by a van while he was leaning out of his tram in Manners Street shortly before eight o'clock this morning, and suffered concussion and general abrasions.

Struck by a tramcar in Cuba Street yesterday afternoon, Mrs. Dora Vance, 324 Muritai Road, received head injuries. Her condition this morning was reported to be improving.

Mr. H. Mason, a clerk, of 10 Hobson Crescent, slipped and fell on the footpath in Sydney Street East last night and fractured his right arm.

George Ball, aged 8, fell while playing at Miramar South School yesterday afternoon and suffered a fracture of his right arm. The injured persons were taken to hospital by the Free Ambulance,
