FARM MANAGER KILLED
Fatal injuries were suffered by Mr. Eric Hammond, aged 24, a farm manager, of Mangaweka, when he was thrown from his horse, states a Taihape correspondent. Mr. Hammond was riding round to inspect ewes in hilly counti-y. and when he did not return for lunch a search was made. He was found critically injured on a steep slope. He was taken to the Taihape Hospital, where he died yesterday morning.
