Miss Gay Wilson, Remuera, has returned to Auckland from a visit to Wairakei.
Miss Mary Quin, formerly of Hawera, has been appointed secretary of the Wellington branch of the Plunjket Society and the Karitane Hospital.
Mi^s'Anita Webster, Auckland, who has been visiting Christchurch, is now staying in Wellington as the guest of Mrs. A. Nimmo, Hataitai. . .
Mrs. Claude Davies, Christchurch, has left for visits to Wellington and Palmerston North.
Mrs. P. J. Calvert and Miss Janet Calvert have arrived from Christchurch for the Cunliffe—Brooking wedding, at which Miss Calvert is to be a bridesmaid.
Miss Erice Day, Ngaio, returned to Wellington this morning from a three weeks' holiday spent at Christchurch and Dunedin.
, Miss I. I. Fippard, secretary of the Napier Park Racing Club, is at present visiting Gisborne.
Mrs. S. Brooking and Miss Patricia Brooking, Wanganui, are in Wellington for the Cunliffe—Brooking wedding and are the guests of Mrs. A. E. Brooking, Hataitai.
Miss Judy Christian, Petone, is spending the holidays at her home, Te Awe Awe Street, Palmerston North.
Miss S. Holloway (Dunedin) is staying at the Grand Hotel.

Mrs. C. W. Tait (Japan) and Miss R. Johnson (Dunedin) are staying at the Hotel St. George.
