The dinner, which was held after the 26th annual meeting, was the first formal one held by the association and was given as a Centennial gesture. Fifty women were present.

Mrs. A. Fbuhy, president, was in the chair and Mrs. Fraser was guest of honour. With them were Mrs. Mason, Mrs. Catherine Stewart, M.P., Mrs. A. F. McMurtrie (wife of the Assistant Director of Education), Mrs. F. C. Lopdbll (wife of the principal of the Wellington Teachers' Training College), Mrs. Hunter (a former warden of the Training College), Miss Elsie Andrews, Miss Hetheririgton (inspector of secondary schools), and.
