TURNOVER DECREASE
(By Telegraph—Press Association.)
HAWERA, February 8
A blustery day and heavy showers affected the attendance at the opening of the Egmont Racing Club's Summer Meeting today. Nevertheless there was a fair crowd present and the turnover of £16,283 10s, as against £18,733 last year, was satisfactory in the circumstances. The course ■ was in very good order, but the going was slightly heavy. f Results: —
