Mrs. T.Neave, Wellington, and Miss Mary Neave are spending several months in : Auckland and have taken up their residence in Victoria Avenue, RemueraV Miss Nola Chambers, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. C. P. Chambers, Seaforth Flats, Diifferin Street, has returned to Wellington after two years in Brisbane, Sydney, and Melbourne. Mrs. Stanton Harcourt, Hobson Street, who has been staying at Palmerston North with her daughter, Mrs.Brian Keiller, has returned to Wellington. Miss L. C. Wood, daughter of the Engineer-in-Chief of the Public Works Department, returned to Wellington today from a visit to Sydney. Mrs. W. J. Moore and her sister. Miss M. Opie, have arrived in New Zealand from England and are spending a few days mi Wellington before returning to Winchester, South Canterbury. Miss p.; G. Blackmore, principal of St. Hilda's Collegiate School, Dunedin, and her mother, who have been for a trip to England, returned to Dunedin on Monday. Mr. aiid Mrs. J. T. Fenwick, Mr. J. Fen wick, arid Miss Betty Fenwick, Napier, are visiting Wellington. Mrs. Alfred Caselberg, Masterton, arrived yesterday to spend a week at Eastbourne. ? Mrs. J. Ritchie, Wellington, is the guest of her sister, Mrs. Lan Macintyre, Cashmere Hills, Christchurch. Miss Nita McHardy, Hawke's Bay, is staying with her sister, Mrs. L. E. Bale, Palmerston North. Mrs. J. Sloman, Auckland, who has been visiting Wellington, will return home on Saturday. The Misses Kummer, Masterton, are visiting Wellington. Mr. and Mrs. John McKinley, Napier, are spending a holiday in Wellington. Mrs. P. Borthwick and family, "Eridge," Masterton, who . have been staying at Paraparaumu beach, have returned home. ; Mrs. John Montgomery, Riccarton, Mrs. J. H. Grigg, Longbeach, Mrs. Giljbert Grigg, Hororata, and Mrs, A. ; Graham Holmes, Rakaia, will be Canterbury visitors to Invercargill for the .Royal Show early next month, I Mrs. F. McDonell, who has been visiting Wellington, has returned with her daughter to Palmerston North. Mrs. R. Caughley,; Kelburn, Wellington, is visiting her mother, Mrs. Alfred Evans, Aikman's Road. Mrs. H. H. O'Loughlen has returned to Wairoa from a holiday at Wellington. Mrs. R. K. Morrish, Lincoln, is staying at the Empire Hotel. Guests at the Midland Hotel include Mrs. R. M. Robertson, Mrs. J. Woods, Miss P. Woods (Christchurch), Mrs. Clemson (Tauranga), Mrs. P. H. McElroy, Mrs. J. Phillips (Australia), Mrs. A. M. Thomas (Auckland), Mrs. C. Sr Trotter (Hawera), and Mrs. J. Allen (Timaru). Mrs. Barkman (Wanganui), Misses M. and N. Bond (Timaru), Mrs. A. Nicholl (Canterbury), Mrs. Waugh (Napier), Mrs. K. Ballantyne (Christchurch), and Miss Tesser (Sydney) are staying at the Hotel Waterloo.
