BELIEVED DEAD
NEW ZEALAND PILOT

DUNEDIN, November 28.
, Advice has been received from the Air Ministry, London, by Mr. P. Keller, District Public Works Engineer, Otago and Southland, that his son, Pilot Officer H. J. Keller, serving with the Royal Air Force, has been reported missing as the result of an accident, and is believed to have lost his life. . '
: Pilot Officer Keller, who was 20 years of age, was educated at New Plymouth Boys' High School, and his early interest in flying enabled him to secure his A licence at the age of -18, when he was still at school. He joined the Air Force last year, and, after preliminary training at Taieri Aerodrome, and Wigram, he left for England to join the Royal Air Force in February of this year. Within a short time he secured his second navigator's certificate, and, when stationed it Thornaby-on-Tees, just before 'the outbreak of war, lie was navigating officer for his squadron.
