SHOT DOWN BY POLES
WARSAW, June 28. After firing a warning shot, Polish coastal artillery shot down a German^ military aeroplane which was alleged to be flying over fortifications opposite \ the port of Gdynia. The machirfe fell into the sea and ; sent out an SOS message. A passing German merchant ship picked up, the occupants. \ r The Air Ministry in Berlin refused ; ,to give details of the incident.
