"GERMANY WILL NOT BEG"
BERLIN, June 13
The political spokesman said the British Foreign Secretary, Lord Halifax's speech in the House of Lords was a step backward rather than forward, affording fresh encouragement to the Poles to continue their machinations.
"Germany has beom willing to negotiate, but Poland, encouraged by a blank cheque from England, seeks other ways." the spokesman declared. "Germany will not beg on her knees for Danzig."
