LONDON, June 12

Speaking in the House of Commons, the Foreign Under-Secretary, Mr. R. L. Butler, said that the Italian and German representatives on the Non-intervention Committee had never indicated to the committee the information which had now been divulged concerning the declarations of intervention in Spain by Herr Hitler and Signor Mussolini.

The British Government had been well aware that intervention was occurring and had investigated every fact presented to it.
