ROSENEATH BUS

(To the Editor.)

Sir, —I wish to draw your attention to the risk of life and limb passengers by the Courtenay Place-Roseneath bus service are subjected to through motorists speeding past stationary buses when discharging their passengers at the first section opposite the Presbyterian Church. At this particular place Grafton Road forms an intersection with Palliser Road. I have on many occasions been half-way across the road before the bus is in motion after discharging passengers, and was obliged to retrace on account of motorists speeding p; ~t and having no regard for persons leaving the standing bus. If it is the practice in Ihe town for vehicles to stop for trams to discharge passengers this law should apply further out. Let something be done before some unfortunate person loses his life.—l am, etc., CONSTANT BUS TRAVELLER.
