BIG RIVER GOLD.
Big River Gold Mines returns for April and May, 1939, are as follows:-* Battery department, 250 tons of ort crushed for 1790z of melted gold. Cyanide department, 250 tons of sandi treated for 31oz 6dwt of bullion. Total estimated value, £1500;. In addition to the above 3J tons of concentrates were saved valued at £105. In estimating the above values gold has been taken at 150s per fine ounce.
