PUBLICITY BOOKLETS

For Centennial purposes the Government has decided to bring several of the more important booklets of the Tourist and Publicity Department up to date in letterpress and illustrations, and to issue other publications on new lines. One of the booklets to be remodelled is entitled "The Maori" which gained wide popularity overseas, requests for copies of it having come from many countries.

"With the historical publications now being printed," stated the Minister of Internal Affairs (the Hon. W. E. Parry) today, "and the booklets already available and those to be put in hand straightway by the Tourist and Publicity Department, the knowledge of New Zealanders and overseas visitors of the history, interesting sidelights, and affairs of our country should be added to."
