RESIGNATION OF FOUNDER

At a meeting of the council of the British Drama League held in Wellington a resolution was passed putting on record'the debt the Drama Leagua owed to the New Zealand founder, Miss Elizabeth Blake:

The league was inaugurated' as a national' movement eight years ago, and since th#?n community drama has spread throughout New Zealand. Miss Blake has found it necessary to resign from the league owing to her impending departure from New Zealand. The council desired to express its deep sense of gratitude to her for her years of work in establishing the league, and its best wishes for her future welfare and happiness.
