HASTINGS, This Day.

When the motor-cycle on which they -were travelling came into collision with a car on a bend on the NapierTaradale Road at 7.15 last night a man and his wife were thrown off. receiving injuries. They are John Murtagh, aged 26, Hastings, concussion, head lacerations, and fractured arm;

and Henrietta Murtagh, concussion, lacerations, and shock.

Mr. Murtagh was admitted to the Napier Hospital. His condition is satisfactory. His wife was later Her injuries are not serious.
