UNIVERSITY RUGBY
INTER-ISLAND MATCH
MANAGERS SELECTED
■ The managers for the inter-island University Rugby match, which is to be played in Christchurch on Saturday, June 3, are announced as follows: — For the North Island, Mr. C. Blazey, of Wellington, and for the South, Mr. H. O. Jefcoate, of the Christchurch Boys' High School. Mr. Blazey will also act as manager of the New Zealand University team which is to be selected after the match, and which will play Canterbury College on Monday, June 5, at Christchurch.
As the Auckland University College team is unable to make the journey to Wellington to play Victoria College at Athletic Park next Wednesday, Massey College is sending a team to Wellington to play Victoria on that day and not on Saturday as stated last evening.
Massey College now ranks as a University team and is so classified in the Palmerston North senior Rugby championship competition. This makes five University teams taking part in senior football—in Wellington, Auckland, Christchurch, Dunedin, and Palmerston North.
