ADDRESSES ON WORLD CHURCH CONFERENCE.

Last December a unique world conference of the churches was held at Tamboram, near Madras, India.. From every country ' under the sun the Christian Churches' (with the exception of the Roman' Catholic Church) sent delegates to' face together, a world in chaos and desperate need. They worshipped unitedly their one Lord, they gathered into one focus the broken lights of the faith by which the world Christian community lives. They tried to envisage what it must mean if the Christian faith is to be convincingly presented to the uncounted millions who hold to the nonChristian faith, as well as to the newer paganisms of our modern materialism. Two of the New Zealand delegates are to tell the story of this great conference next Tuesday at 8 o'clock in Wesley Church. Taranaki Street. The Rev. D. N. MacDiarmid and the Rt. Rev. Bishop Bennett will be the speakers, and Bishop Bennett will show lantern i views of his own photographs.
