DENTAL ASSISTANTS'

DISPUTE

AUCKLAND, May 12.

Representatives of employers and employees have reached a full agreement in the Auckland dental assistants' and technicians' dispute, which was considered before Mr. R. E. Price, Conciliation Commissioner.

The new agreement provides . that working, hours shall remain at 40, spread over five and a half days of the week, and that annual holidays shall be increased from one week to a fortnight a year.

The ba^is used in fixing wages was that of men with'five years' experience at mechanical dentistry, who are to receive £5 5s a week, rising to £5 10s after seven years' experience. The agreement will come into operation on May 29, and its currency is twelve months.
