MANAWATU TOURNEY

PALMERSTON N., This Day. Six of the 'nine rounds to be played in the Manawatu Bowling Centre's rink tourney have been completed. Already four rinks have qualified for post-sec-tion play, not having had a loss. They are rinks skipped by King (Manawatu), Crump (Palmerston North), Arnott (Palmerston North), and Naylor (Thorndon). Seven rinks with five wins apiece are skipped by McArthur (Hastings), Ramsay (Palmerston North), Hearsey (Takaro), Aitken (Oroua), Roper (Lower Huti), Stableford (Palmerston North), and Sparrow (Palmerston North).
