SYDNEY WOOL SALES
(By Telegraph—Press Association —Copyright.) SYDNEY, February 9. At the wool sales today 10,120 bales were offered and 9690 were sold at auction; also 688 disposed of privately. There was strong competition from the Continent and Yorkshire, with good support from Japan and local mills. The market ruled in sellers' favour, with a' strong demand for skirtings, •vVhich were from par to 5 per cent, higher. n ■ „ Greasy merino made 233 d a lb.
